Install Updraft from network docs/wp plugins/purchased/updraft premium. OR login to updraft plus and download the latest.

Open up your default web browser and login to dropbox with bfadmin@boldfocus.com

login to web site to configure updraft (production or staging)

Select Updraft Settings
Select dropbox
Select Google Cloud (to unselect, if selected)

Scroll down
Dropbox backup settings
Send Scheduled backups – on every backup
Store at: add domain name + “-prod” or “-stage”. ie chemocentryx-prod

Check to backup plugins, themes, uploads, and wordpress core.

Email warning/error Reports to logging@boldfocus.com

Click show expert settings

Select Delete Local backup
Select Automatic updates
Select Updraft automatic backups

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page

remote storage authentication window opens. Click link to approve dropbox access.

Updraft would like to: select dropbox button to authorize, not personal

You’re routed to the updraft site.
Click on Complete Setup, it will take you back to the site.

If already logged in, then run test backup
If it doesn’t think you’re loggedin, it will ask you to login.
Login as admin and repeat the two step authorization process above.

Files backup schedule
Production: weekly, on sunday at :05, retain 12 backups
Staging: manual

Database backup schedule: daily, :05, retain 7
